ZeroTV — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 October 2026
Developer contact: helloizzylogic@gmail.com
ZeroTV is a player for IPTV playlists and TV accounts that you add yourself. It does not include any channels, and it has no account system, no servers and no analytics.
What ZeroTV stores
On your phone or TV only, in the app's private storage:
- the playlist links, provider logins (Xtream Codes or Stalker portal) and guide links you add
- your favourites, hidden categories, settings and cached programme guides
- a pairing code that lets your phone control your TV
None of this is sent to the developer. Uninstalling ZeroTV, or clearing its data, deletes it.
Who ZeroTV talks to
- Your providers and guide links. To show channels and guides, ZeroTV connects to the addresses you added, sending whatever those addresses require (for example your provider login). Their handling of your data is covered by their own policies.
- Your other devices. On your home network, the phone and TV apps find each other and exchange commands, playlists and guide links after you pair them with a 6-digit code.
- Google Cast. If you cast, the stream address (or a link to your phone, when the phone relays the stream) is sent to the Cast device you choose.
What ZeroTV does not do
- No accounts or sign-in with ZeroTV.
- No advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No sale or sharing of personal data.
Backups
Backups are only created when you export one. They are encrypted with a passphrase you choose and saved wherever you pick. The developer never receives them.
Children
ZeroTV is not directed at children under 13.
