ZeroTV — Support

ZeroTV plays the IPTV playlists and TV accounts you already have, on Android phones, Android TV and Google TV. It doesn't include any channels.

Getting started

• On your phone, open Settings → Sources → Add source and pick Playlist (an M3U link), Xtream (server, username and password) or Stalker (portal address and MAC).
• Open ZeroTV on the TV, then on the phone go to Remote, tap your TV and enter the 6-digit PIN shown in the TV's Settings. Tap Sync to send your sources across.

Common questions

Does ZeroTV come with channels?

No. ZeroTV is a player only. You need a playlist or account from a provider you're entitled to use. We can't recommend or supply providers.

The guide is empty or wrong for some channels.

Many providers ship thin guides. Add an XMLTV link under Settings → Programme guide → Add guide source. Its listings are used on the channels it matches by name.

Why is Live events empty?

Live events comes from the guide. Download the full guide in Settings → Programme guide, or add a guide source that includes sport.

A channel won't play.

Try another channel from the same source first. If none play, the provider may be down or your subscription may have ended. On TV, the stream-health line in the player says what ZeroTV sees.

Casting doesn't work on some channels.

Some streams can't be played by a Chromecast directly. ZeroTV then relays them through your phone, so keep the phone on the same Wi-Fi and the app open while you cast.

The phone doesn't find my TV.

Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network, with ZeroTV open on the TV. Some routers isolate devices on guest networks, which blocks this.

Can I move everything to a new device?

Yes. Settings → Backup → Export backup saves an encrypted file protected by your passphrase. Import it on the new device.
